On August 15, 2019, India completed 72 years of freedom since gaining Independence on August 15, 1947. It is a matter of pride for the entire nation that have been day by day inching towards becoming a global force by setting benchmarks in different fields. 

Being a Cricket crazy nation, it is difficult to undermine the importance of how Cricket has changed the image of the nation. India have been a dominant force in the last two decades in the World of Cricket. In this time period, India became the only team to have won a T20 World Cup, a Champion Trophy win, and a 50 overs World Cup.

Meanwhile, Team India recently completed a dominant win in yet another bilateral series by defeating the West Indies 2-0 in their own backyard. Virat Kohli led the show by bagging the player of the series award. He scored back to back centuries to help India left yet another bilateral trophy. India would now be facing West Indies to begin their World Test Championship, which would run till June 2021.

Nevertheless, we wish India a Happy 73rd Independence Day. May Team India achieve all the glory and success for the next year. In terms of major tournaments, Team India would be eying the World test Championship title in June 2021 in England.
