Sanjay Manjrekar trolled into ‘bits and pieces’ on his birthday
Birthday wishes poured in for Sanjay Manjrekar on Twitter in the form of trolls and memes.
Sanjay Manjrekar, the ex Indian cricketer turned commentator has been in the news for a while now.
Ever since the World Cup started, Sanjay has faced a lot of backlash for his commentary in relation to biases and favoritism.
His sarcastic and mean comments on certain players have often not gone well with the emotional audience as he faced a lot of wrath on social media for his opinions and tweets
THE RAVINDRA JADEJA SPAT:
Recently, Sanjay took a dig at Ravindra Jadeja, and called him a ‘bits and pieces’ player. It didn’t go well with Jadeja as well as his fans as Social media was ablaze with several waves of abuse, hate, and trolls.
Jadeja too responded to the statement on social media with a special mention of ‘Verbal diarrhea’.
Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved.i have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea.@sanjaymanjrekar

Complementing his tweet, Ravindra Jadeja played for just 2 matches in World Cup 2019, but left an impression that would be remembered for years. He almost pulled off a miracle chase during the first semi-final against New Zealand with his superb knock of 77(59).
The knock even forced Sanjay Manjrekar to appreciate Ravindra Jadeja’s contribution; though in a sarcastic manner.
Well played Jadeja! ?

Sanjay Manjrekar's birthday.
He is usually successful at entertaining us with his commentary.
Tough to choose one but I'd pick the comparison between the batting style of W.G. Grace and Sunil Narine as the best of the lot.— Mayukh Ghosh (@stock_delivery) July 12, 2019

While it is right to criticize any player, it is important that it is done in a constructive way rather than being personal and blunt in your comments.
We just hope, Sanjay uses his Cricketing knowledge in a way that adds value to the game and the audience.
P.S: Many happy returns of the day, Mr. Sanjay Manjrekar. God bless!
