Meanwhile, before the 76th Independence day, India have a golden opportunity to win their second T2O World Cup title. The T20 World Cup is scheduled in October-November later this year in UAE. This would be the first time India would be playing a T20 World Cup under Virat Kohli’s captaincy.

India are currently in England, and playing at the historic venue at Lord’s. As an Independence gift, India would be hoping to gift its motherland an away Test victory at Lords. India are definitely in a commanding situation. A target of close to 250 on the final day would be advantage India.
