As Team India script a memorable win over Australia at World Cup 2019, we recorded some of the best reactions on Twitter.
It has been a fairytale match for Team India as almost everyone contributed to India’s memorable win over Australia.
Batting first, Team India’s top 3 were fantastic as always. Shikhar Dhawan scored a brilliant hundred, while Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli scored fantastic half-centuries.
Hardik Pandya, MS Dhoni, and KL Rahul contributed a useful 86(44) down the order to help India finish on a mammoth 352-5 in 50 overs.
Chasing the mammoth 353, Australia’s strategy to approach this game looked out of sorts, and David Warner’s innings of 56(84) is a topic of debate.
Steve Smith and Aaron Finch played a handy 69(70) and 35(36) respectively, while Glenn Maxwell with 28(14) and Alex Carey with 55(33) tried their best to chase the target.
For India, Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets each as India won the match by 36 runs.
So, with India scripting a famous win against Australia, here are some of the awesome Twitter reactions.

The Oval was blue today. With every passing year the proportion of Indians in the crowd grows. This was almost unreal today

Resounding win for India. The batters led by Shikhar were fantastic and I thought the bowlers executed their plans superbly, Bhuvi bowled beautifully. The team bonding looks great and a very promising start to the World Cup for Team India. #INDvAUS pic.twitter.com/q37lNgD9vt

What makes India such a hard team to beat is that they ask you to attack early – with bat & with ball – to expose their weaker areas & avoid their strengths. Attacking early is scary because it is when you feel like you have the most to lose. #CWC19
