IPL 2020 – SRH vs RCB Match Preview:

It is game 3, and the 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad take on the notoriously famous, Royal Challengers Bangalore. After meeting in the finals in 2016, the former has been consistent performer, while the latter has had a mediocre performance finishing in the bottom half in all the three occasions.

Sunrisers Hyderabad had a good 2019 campaign where they qualified for the playoffs before losing the eliminator to Delhi Capitals. Post that, they have added some firepower in the form of all-rounders, Marsh and Allen and some exciting Indian youngsters, Priyam Garg, Virat Singh, and Abdul Samad. Their bowling is still their strength, and under David Warner, they would be after their second title.

RCB, on the other hand, look more balanced than their previous three years team. They have added Aaron Finch at the top, Chris Morris in the all-rounder department, and Adam Zampa in the spin department. However, apart from Kohli and Abd, the team would need other players to step-up considerably if they have to go far in the tournament.

IPL 2020 – SRH vs RCB Predicted XIs:

IPL 2020 SRH vs RCB – Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted 11:

The biggest question for Sunrisers Hyderabad would be the selection of the fourth overseas player. Do they select Kane Williamson, and make their middle-order strong, or they select Mohammad Nabi, and make their lower-order and spin department strong. Meanwhile, two of Priyam Garg, Virat Singh and Abdul Samad are certain to make to the playing 11.

David Warner (C), Jonny Bairstow (WK), Priyam Garg, Kane Williamson / Abdul Samad, Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Abhishek Sharma/ Mohammed Nabi, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, and Khaleel Ahmed.

IPL 2020 SRH vs RCB – Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted 11:

Similar to SRH, the RCB would face the dilemma of the selection of the fourth overseas player. It is going to be the selection between Moeen Ali and Dale Steyn. Moeen Ali is a reliable middle-order batsman, but selecting him would make RCB lose out on death overs of Steyn as Umesh Isn’t a death overs bowler. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, and Navdeep Saini should complete the rest of the bowling line-up.

Aaron Finch, Parthiv Patel (WK), Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, Gurkeerat Singh / Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Dale Steyn / Umesh Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Top Fantasy Picks:

Batsmen: Virat Kohli, Ab de Villiers, David Warner, and Jonny Bairstow

Both are teams are heavily dependent on their best batting duo, Virat & AB for RCB and Warner & Bairstow for SRH. These four are their respective team’s best batsmen, and if not all, at least 2 of them are certain to give you those valuable points. While Finch is a fantastic option too, he hasn’t had the best of outings in IPL, so we can wait before selecting him in our team.

All-rounders: Chris Morris

One may argue that Chris Morris has lost his charm, and isn’t the dangerous all-rounder that he was in 2017 and before. However, a new team and added death bowling responsibility may get the best out of him. He is RCB’s solution to deathovers and finishing duties, hence his value cannot be undermined, and is a definite pick against SRH.

Bowlers: Rashid Khan, Navdeep Saini, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Over the last two years, teams have had only one strategy against Rashid Khan, and that is to play out his 4 overs. This led to Rashid taking fewer wickets than usual. However, this strategy may not work entirely in the UAE where the conditions and experience; both are in Rashid’s favour. He is a certain pick, and even so looking at so many right-handers in RCB’s squad.

The leading pacers of both teams, Navdeep Saini and Bhuvneshwar Kumar would have a lot of responsibility on their shoulders. While Bhuvi is an experienced campaigner, Saini is an emerging prospect, and has been a star performer in 2019-20 season for India. Both can give you important wicket points as they would be operating at the start, and at the death.

Captain & Vice-Captain Pick: David Warner & Virat Kohli
