Please note, the final 11 is selected basis of the following conditions:

  • Pure Batters and Bowlers playing with their right hand and left hand are considered right-handers and left-handers respectively. 
  • A batting all-rounder batting with right or left hand is considered right-handed or left-handed respectively. Whereas a bowling all-rounder bowling with the right or left hand is considered right-handed or left-handed respectively.
  • The Playing 11 must have at least 6 bowling options, 1 wicket-keeper, 7 batters+all-rounders options.  

Top-order:

Team Right-handed: Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul & Virat Kohli

Team Left-handed: Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan & Nicholas Pooran

Talking about the costliest right-handed and left-handed top-order, we have Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, and Virat Kohli from Team RH. Whereas we have Ishan Kishan, Shikhar Dhawan, and Nicholas Pooran from Team LH. Rohit and Kishan represent MI, KL Rahul and Pooran represent LSG, Dhawan represents PBKS, and Kohli represents RCB.  

KL Rahul is the costliest top-order player among these six with a salary of INR 17 Cr. He is followed by Rohit Sharma and Nicholas Pooran at 16 Cr, Ishan Kishan at 15.25 Cr, Virat Kohli at 15 Cr, and Shikhar Dhawan at 8.25 Cr. Overall, the salary of Team RH is 0.5 Cr costlier than that of Team LH.

Middle-order:

Team Right-handed: Sanju Samson, Harry Brook & Hardik Pandya 

Team Left-handed: Rishabh Pant, Ben Stokes & Shimron Hetmyer

Coming to the middle-order, Team RH has wicket-keeper Sanju Samson at 3, England’s attacking batter Harry Brook at 5, and All-rounder Hardik Pandya at 6. Whereas Team LH has Wicket-keeper Rishabh pant at 4, England All-rounder Ben Stokes at 5, and West Indies’ Shimron Hetmyer at 6. 

Of the six, Ben Stokes is the costliest middle-order player with a salary of INR 16.25 Cr. He is followed by Rishabh Pant and Nicholas Pooran with a salary of 16 Cr each. With the top 3 belonging to Team LH, Team RH has Sanju Samson with a salary of 14 Cr, Harry Brook with a salary of 13.25 Cr, and Hardik Pandya with a salary of 15 Cr. 

Lower-order:

Team Right-handed: Cameron Green, Andre Russell & Rashid Khan

Team Left-handed: Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel & Rahul Tewatia

Talking about the Lower-order, Team RH has the overseas trio of England’s Cameron Green, West Indies’ Andre Russell, and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan. Whereas Team LH has an Indian trio of Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Rahul Tewatia. Team RH costs a whopping 44.5 Cr as compared to 34 Cr for Team LH.

Overall, among the lower-order players, Cameron Green is the costliest at a salary of 17.5 Cr. He is followed by Ravindra Jadeja at 16 Cr, Rashid Khan at 15 Cr, and Andre Russell at 12 Cr. Whereas India duo Rahul Tewatia and Axar Patel get a salary of 9 cr each.

Team Right-handed: Jasprit Bumrah & Deepak Chahar

Team Left-handed: Trent Boult & Sam Curran

Finally, looking at the costly key pacers for both the teams, Team RH has the Indian duo of Jasprit Bumrah and Deepak Chahar at a salary of 12 Cr and 14 Cr respectively. Whereas Team LH has the overseas duo of Trent Boult and Sam Curran at a salary of 8 Cr and 18.5 Cr respectively.
