IPL 2020 – KXIP vs RCB Match Preview:

After a shocking defeat to Delhi Capitals in their first match, Kings XI Punjab would now take on high on confidence Royal Challengers Bangalore in Dubai for the 6th match of Dream 11 IPL 2020.

Kings XI Punjab did all the good work in the entire match except for the last three balls which cost them the match. They needed 1 from 3 balls, but ended losing the match in the super over. While KXIP’s bowling looked good, it is the middle-order of Nair, Maxwell, and Pooran that needs to step up.

For RCB, things weren’t looking good when SRH were chasing as bowlers were bleeding runs, but made a stunning comeback in the last 6 overs with Chahal taking the charge. While they did make a few strategic blunders by playing an extra batsman instead of strengthening the bowling, we hope they rectify that mistake against KXIP.

The conditions aren’t going to change much in Dubai, and we can expect the pitch giving more assistance to pace bowling. The last two matches here weren’t high scoring, and expect the same in this match too.

IPL 2020 KXIP vs RCB Predicted XIs:

Kings XI Punjab played both, Jordan and Cottrell in the first match leaving out Gayle and Mujeeb. Given the pitch should assist the pace bowling once again, Jordan and Cottrell should continue in the playing XI. Other than that, KXIP are unlikely to make any change in the XI.

IPL 2020 DC vs KXIP – Kings XI Punjab Predicted 11:

KL Rahul, Mayank Agarwal, Karun Nair, Nicholas Pooran, Glenn Maxwell, Sarfaraz Khan, Krishnappa Gowtham, Ravi Bishnoi, Chris Jordan, Mohammed Shami, and Sheldon Cottrell.

IPL 2020 KXIP vs RCB – Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted 11:

RCB surprised everyone by playing Joshua Philippe as the wicket-keeper, and that too in the middle-order. While Morris was not well in the first match, if he is fit, he should take Steyn’s place in the final 11. Meanwhile, Umesh, who looked wayward in the first match should be retained for the second match.

Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers, Joshua Philippe (WK), Shivam Dube, Chris Morris / Dale Steyn, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Umesh Yadav, and Yuzvendra Chahal.

Top Fantasy Picks:

Batsmen: Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Aaron Finch

Both the captains, Virat Kohli and KL Rahul had a poor outing in their respective first match. While KL Rahul got out to an unplayable delivery, Virat Kohli literally threw it away with a poor shot trying to up the ante. Given the quality they have, expect them to give you valuable points in the match.

Aaron Finch began on a positive note in the first match scoring a 29(27). He has been in stunning touch for Australia, and having started on a positive note for RCB, you can expect Finch to score more against KXIP.

All-rounder: Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell fell to a poor shot in the first match against Delhi Capitals. Not just him, the entire middle-order had a poor outing for KXIP. He needs to show some maturity in his batting if KXIP have to do well in the tournament. He just needs a few deliveries, and boom you can see the repeat telecast of 2014.

Bowlers: Navdeep Saini, Ravi Bishnoi, and Mohammed Shami

Navdeep Saini impressed with his raw pace in the first match. He bowled in right areas, and hardly gave dolly balls in the entire innings. While Kohli didn’t use him smartly, he can be RCB’s solution to death bowling if Morris isn’t available.

Ravi Bishnoi had a superb IPL debut against Delhi Capitals. He kept his line right, and effectively used the googlies in the process. He would once again come handy against RCB as we all know Kohli and De Villiers are susceptible to wrist spin.

Mohammed Shami had a fantastic start to IPL 2020. He bowled with pace, and the pitch gave him a lot of assistance. Given that the conditions are not going to change much in Dubai, you can expect Shami to perform well, and be the wicket-taker he is.

Captain & Vice-Captain Pick: Virat Kohli and KL Rahul
