IPL 2025 Auction Comprehensive Set List of 574 Players Inside
Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul among the star names to go under the hammer in our complete final list of 574 players for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
In less than a week, the spectacle that it is, the IPL 2025 Mega Auction will unleash after a gap of three years. For the last two years in 2023 and 2024, we saw the Mini Auctions taking place with teams opting to choose most of their players. But the 2025 edition will see a complete revamp of the squad with teams being allowed to retain or RTM a maximum of 6 players, and more than 200 spots being up for grabs in this Auction.
The IPL 2025 Mega Auction will see many star players not getting retained this time around. Some of the star players include the likes of Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler, etc. While some may get back to their existing side with the help of RTM cards, the other quality players will see an aggressive bidding war, and will join the team that has deep pockets. Two such teams with deep pockets this time are Punjab Kings and RCB.
For the Auction, each player is assigned a reserve price, and will go under the hammer set wise. Each player has been assigned a set, and players from that set will go under the hammer randomly. For example, Set 1 will start first, and there are six players under this set – Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler, Arshdeep Singh, Kagiso Rabada, and Mitchell Starc. So, as we wait for the Auction excitement to unfold, let’s in the meantime look at the comprehensive list of players for the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.
