T20 World Cup 2026 Full Official Schedule Single Image Download

With the blockbuster India vs Pakistan match on Feb 15, download the complete final schedule for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2026.

The blockbuster tournament of the year, the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, has officially kicked off with the International Cricket Council announcing the schedule for the tournament. The T20 World Cup 2026 will kick off on February 07 with India taking on the USA in Mumbai. The tournament will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka, and except for the Pakistan clash, all of India’s matches shall be scheduled in India.

The T20 World Cup 2026 promises to be one of the most competitive editions yet, with 20 teams divided into four balanced and exciting groups. Each group brings its own storyline, rivalries, and rising contenders who could upset traditional powerhouses. Here’s a closer look at all four groups. Group A includes India, Pakistan, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia. Interestingly, Group A immediately grabs attention with the iconic India vs Pakistan rivalry on Feb 15 – a fixture that always draws global viewership.

Group B includes Sri Lanka, Australia, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Oman. Whereas Group C includes England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Italy. Whereas Group D includes New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada, and the UAE. Group D is arguably the toughest group of the tournament. New Zealand’s consistency, South Africa’s firepower, and Afghanistan’s world-class spin department make qualification extremely competitive.

T20 World Cup 2026 Format and Super 8 Seeding

The T20 World Cup 2026 will follow the same tournament format used in the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies, given that it was also a 20-team World Cup. With 5 teams divided into 4 groups, each team will play four group-stage matches. The top two teams from each of the four groups will move forward to the Super Eight stage.  In the Super Eight, qualified teams will be further split into two groups of four, where they will compete for a place in the knockouts. Only the top two teams from each Super Eight group will progress to the semi-finals, followed by the much-anticipated T20 World Cup 2026 Final.

The Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2026 uses a pre-assigned seeding system to decide how teams are placed after the group stage. Each group has two seeds: X1–X4 for Group X and Y1–Y4 for Group Y. Even if a lower-ranked team finishes first in their group, they still enter the Super Eight according to their original tournament seed, not their group position. This ensures balanced groups, avoids top teams clashing early, and keeps the schedule predictable. If all seeded teams qualify, the Super Eight groups are already known in advance.

Super 8 Pre-Seed Team
X1 India
X2 Australia
X3 West Indies
X4 South Africa
Y1 England
Y2 New Zealand
Y3 Pakistan
Y4 Sri Lanka
