IPL 2024 Auction: Complete List of Shortlisted 333 Players
A total of 333 names set to go under the hammer as we look at the official short-listed IPL 2024 Auction players list and price details.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday, December 11 officially announced the IPL 2024 Auction players list and price details. A total of 333 players have been short-listed for the Marquee event that is scheduled to take place on December 19, 2:30 pm IST in Dubai – the first time the event takes place outside India.
The Mini Auction as we call it will see 333 players competing for a total of 77 spots between the 10 franchises. While there is space for 47 Indian players, 30 overseas spots will be up for grabs. Among the star players who may attract the maximum bids include Shardul Thakur, Harshal Patel, Kartik Tyagi, Travis Head, Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Rachin Ravindra.
All 10 teams can spend a maximum of INR 262.95 Cr for a total of 77 spots. That means, on average, teams have around 3 Cr to spend per player. This also implies that we will see at least 12-15 players who will get sold for INR 10 Cr or more. IPL 2024 Auction Players List and Price Details:
Starting with the INR 2 Cr price list, there are a total of 23 players on the list. While only 3 are Indian players, the rest 20 players are overseas players. Among Indian players, all three are bowlers in the form of Harshal Patel, Shardul Thakur, and Umesh Yadav. Meanwhile, from overseas players, all eyes will be on Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson, Rilee Rossouw, and Travis Head.
IPL 2024 Auction Players List – INR 2 Cr Price
Indian: Harshal Patel, Shardul Thakur & Umesh Yadav
Overseas: Adil Rashid, Ben Duckett, Chris Woakes, David Willey, Gerald Coetzee, Harry Brook, James Vince, Jamie Overton, Josh Inglis, Josh Hazlewood, Lockie Ferguson, Mitchell Starc, Mujeeb Rahman, Mustafizur Rahman, Pat Cummins, Rassie Van Der Dussen, Rilee Rossouw, Sean Abbott, Steve Smith & Travis Head
The second-highest price bracket sees a total of 13 players with all being overseas players. Among the players, the key attractions are Jason Holder, Philip Salt, and Wanindu Hasasranga. Surprisingly, there are no Indian players in this category.

Indian: None

Coming to the INR 1 Cr category, there are once again no Indian players. However, there are 14 overseas players in this category. Meanwhile, the key attractions from this category shall be Alzarri Joseph, Daryl Mitchell, Dwaine Pretorius, Gus Atkinson, Michael Bracewell, and Rovman Powell.

Indian: None

Coming to the INR 0.75 Cr base price category, there are once again no Indians. However, there are only 11 Overseas players in this category. Knowingly, from the list, only Matt Henry and Finn Allen are key attractions.

Indian: None
Overseas: Billy Stanlake, Fabian Allen, Finn Allen, Ish Sodhi, Keemo Paul, Lance Morris, Matt Henry, Ollie Robinson, Olly Stone, Shai Hope & Taskin Ahmed.
With no Indian players in INR 1.5, 1 Cr, and 0.75 Cr, we finally see Indian players in the 0.5 Cr category. There are a total of 11 Indian players in this category with star attractions being Chetan Sakariya, Shivam Mavi, KS Bharat, and Jaydev Unadkat. Meanwhile, there are 45 overseas players in this category. However, the main attractions shall be Azmatullah Omarzai, Dilshan Madhushanka, Mark Chapman, Tristan Stubbs, and the best of the lot Rachin Ravindra.
