IPL 2020 – DC vs SRH Match Preview:

It is match 11, and we have a contest between both to opposite poles; the North Pole and the South Pole. On one hand, we have Delhi Capitals, who have won two out of two, while on the other hand, we have Sunrisers Hyderabad, who have lost two out of two.

Delhi Capitals are continuing their good run from last year. They are playing like a team, and seeing contributions in each department. They have a solid batting till 6, and 5 proper front-line bowlers. The only weak link in the team seems to be the third pacer. They would be hoping for Ishant to get fit as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, nothing is going right for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Barring the contributions from the top 3, their batting has looked mediocre. They definitely need a shuffle in the batting-order as inexperienced batemen are kept for the finishing role. Their strength has been their bowling, but unless they get batting right, they won’t survive for long.

IPL 2020 DC vs SRH Predicted XIs:

Delhi Capitals have two out of two so far. Hence, unless injury forces, they should go unchanged.

IPL 2020 DC vs SRH – Delhi Capitals Predicted 11:

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer (C), Rishabh Pant (WK), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Amit Mishra, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Avesh Khan

Wriddhiman Saha was slotted in the playing XI in the last match, but he fared poorly with the bat. Unless SRH play Saha at 3, the returns might once again be poor. Anyway, they might want to give another chance to Saha. If not, they can also play a finisher in the form of Virat Singh or Abdul Samad.

IPL 2020 DC vs SRH – Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted 11:

David Warner (C), Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey, Wriddhiman Saha (WK) / Abdul Samad / Virat Singh, Priyam Garg, Mohammed Nabi, Abhishek Sharma, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, and Khaleel Ahmed.

Key Player Selections:

Batsmen: David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan, Jonny Bairstow, and Rishabh Pant.

It’s been two innings, and we are yet to see a big score from IPL 2020’s best and most consistent opener, David Warner. This is a rare sight, and that has hampered the confidence of his team too. SRH desperately need him to perform, and the Captain should take up the responsibility to get his team back to winning ways.

Shikhar Dhawan gave Delhi Capitals good starts last season, and scored over 500 runs. He looked in good touch in the last match, and the confidence should only make him perform better. He should be a good bet if you are looking for consistent runs with the bat.

After a solid knock in the first match, Jonny Bairstow looked completely out of sorts in the second match. There’s no doubt on his quality. It is just the application that was missing in the second match. Expect him to make amends against Delhi Capitals.

Rishabh Pant has a terrific record against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. It is against them he has had his highest score of 128. He has looked good in both the matches so far, but we are yet to fitness that blazing knock they Pant gives 1-2ce every season. May be it is tomorrow.

All-rounders: Axar Patel and Mohammad Nabi

Axar Patel has bowled well in both the matches so far. While he hasn’t had a chance to bat as yet, it is his bowling that has been potent. Except Warner, almost all the batsmen are right-handers, so expect him to do well.

Mohammad Nabi is the solution to SRH’s finishing duties. He batted for a limited time in the first match, but looked good. Apart from his valuable bowling, Nabi is expected to give you good points in the batting department.

Bowlers: Kagiso Rabada and Amit Mishra

Kagiso Rabada is Delhi Capitals’ most valuable bowler. He is sure to give you valuable points through wickets given the way Iyer uses him.  Meanwhile, his teammate, Amit Mishra would love to bowl in Abu Dhabi, and against the right-handers of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Expect him to do well if he bowls in right channels.

Captain & Vice-Captain Pick: David Warner and Rishabh Pant
