IPL 2025 Indian Team Players Annual Central Contract Salary List
Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the highest category in our official salary of Indian team Indian Premier League (IPL) players for 2025.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently officially announced the annual retainer contracts for AY 2024-2025. A total of 34 players have been awarded the retainer central contracts with players being divided into four grades. As we have seen in the past, players are divided into four grades, viz., Grade A+, Grade A, Grade B, and Grade C. The annual salary of these Grades is 7 Cr, 5 Cr, 3 Cr, and 1 Cr respectively.
The Annual contract, which is also the annual fixed salary of a player runs from October to September months of a regular year. So, for AY 2024-2025, the contract has been awarded for a period from October 2024 to September 2025. This is the reason star players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Ravindra Jadeja are still included in A+ given their contribution in the recently played T20 World Cup 2024 and Champions Trophy 2025.
The Indian Premier League as a tournament has a highest salary of 27 Cr, which is currently held by Rishabh Pant. Apart from Pant, there are other expensive players like Shreyas Iyer for 26.75 Cr, Venkatesh Iyer for 23.75 Cr, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh for 18 Cr, etc. However, for being a part of the Indian team, the highest compensation on offer is 7 Cr, and that is offered to 4 players. Aside from annual salary, each player also gets a match fee for playing a Test, ODI, or T20I.
