Coming to the void created by Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar should be the ideal fit for the all-rounder position alongside Ravindra Jadeja. Following the all-rounders shall be two bowlers, who can bat well. This includes Shardul Thakur and Ravichandran Ashwin, whom Team India gave a comeback opportunity in ODIs.

Finally, talking about Team India’s first-choice pacers, India will have to choose from Jasprit Burmah, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, and Prasidh Krishna. Ideally, India would want to win the first match by playing the two best options, Siraj and Bumrah.
