It’s May end, and the T20 fever is currently sky-high with the Indian Premier League and T20 World Cup in focus. While the IPL is almost about to conclude, we are left with only a few days before the International players pack their bags for a trip to the USA and the West Indies for the 2024 T20 World Cup as we are about to witness the 9th tournament since the inception of the tournament in 2007.

Unlike previous years, the tournament is of unique importance as history will be created when 20 teams enter the competition to fight for that one spot. This will be the first time ever that any ICC event will see 20 teams participating in the tournament. All these teams are placed in 4 groups of 5 teams each. There will be 40 Group Stage matches, and these will be followed by 12 Super 8 matches, 2 semi-finals, and 1 Final. 

With so many teams participating, how about we analyze the current squad of all 20 teams, and find the ranking of their best possible playing 11 for T20 World Cup 2024? While 19 teams have already announced their squad, Pakistan are yet to do it. Hence, for Pakistan, we are taking an educated guess, which more or less will confirm their playing 11 for the T20 World Cup 2024.

Uganda Playing 11 for T20 World Cup 2024

Under the leadership of Kane Williamson, New Zealand will be chasing their first T20WC title, and honestly, they have the side to get them through.

The only challenging area for West Indies is spin bowling, which they will have to take care of by playing Rostan Chase and Gudakesh Mote.

They also have a fantastic pace duo in the form of Jofra Archer and Mark Wood. The spin department should mostly be taken care by Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali, and Liam Livingstone. Without a doubt, England will be one of the favorites for the competition.

Overall, Australia have a good all-round playing 11, and a Semi-final finish is just a formality for them.

The only thing the Indian team need is luck in the Knockouts, which has been missing for eternity now.
