The aggressive Prithvi Shaw is back in the ODI squad, and we should see him open alongside Ruturaj Gaikwad. We also have an option of Abhimanyu Easwaran, but guess he will have to wait for his chances.

The middle-order should see Rahul Tripathi at number 3, Sanju Samson at number 4, and Rajat Patidar at number 5. While Sanju is the captain of the team, Rahul Tripathi has been traveling as reserve with the senior team. Whereas Rajat Patidar’s stunning form should see him making his List A debut for Team India. 

The lower-order should see talented all-rounders, Tilak Varma and Shahbaz Ahmed. Tilak Varma isn’t exactly an all-rounder, but apart from his great temperament as a batter, Tilak can offer a good part-time spin option. Meanwhile, it would be a good opportunity for Shahbaz, who was a part of the ODI series squad vs Zimbabwe.  

Coming to the bowlers, the loss of Navdeep Saini should make things pretty clear in the bowling unit. Shardul Thakur should lead the pace attack. Whereas Kuldeep Yadav should lead the spin attack.
