With Jadeja, an established all-rounder playing at 7, India would also bring Rishabh Pant, a left-hander in place of Dinesh Karthik. While Karthik has played decently in his comeback for India, Pant is the first-choice wicket-keeper of the team. In addition to his keeping, Pant’s left-hander attacking batting is much-needed in the middle-order for India.
