Ind vs WI 2019: Expected playing XI for the final T20
India vs WI 2019: Team India look for fresh players in the final T20 against West Indies.
It has been a fantastic T20I series for Team India, who are already 2-0 up against West Indies. India couldn’t have asked for a better redemption post the World Cup 2019 shocker where they got eliminated in the semi-finals due to a shocking top-order collapse.
Rohit Sharma continued his form in the T20s too. While the bowling has had the same firepower which was displayed in the World Cup. With the series already in the bucket, India would definitely try to give reserves a chance considering some of them are only playing the T20Is.
So, which are the key changes expected for the final T20 between India and West Indies?
#3: KL RAHUL FOR SHIKHAR DHAWAN
This is one change that should have happened from the first T20 itself. It is surprising that Team management have decided to leave out one of the most consistent T20 players in recent times.
There is no doubt on Dhawan, the ODI batsman, where he is among the best. But, Dhawan, the T20 batsman is nowhere near to KL Rahul, who enjoys playing the shortest format the most. Even in the 2 T20Is played by Dhawan, he has struggled. He could only manage 24 runs at an avg. of 12.
Anyway, with the series already in the kitty, and Shikhar Dhawan struggling, this would be the right time to give KL Rahul a go.

#2: DEEPAK CHAHAR FOR BHUVNESHWAR KUMAR
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been excellent in the two T20s he has played. Being the experienced pacer, he has led from the front. A total of 3 wickets at an economy rate of 4.33 is quite excellent.
Deepak Chahar, on the other hand, has been only selected for the T20s, and it should be the right time to try the 26-year-old pacer from Rajasthan.
Given that Bhuvneshwar Kumar is also involved in the ODIs, and he has had a tired World Cup, giving him rest won’t be a bad option.
#1: RAHUL CHAHAR FOR RAVINDRA JADEJA
Just like his brother, Deepak, Rahul Chahar would be expected to play the final T20I.
Rahul Chahar has been fantastic playing for India A. He has managed to scalp 11 wickets from 5 matches at an economy rate of 4.3; quite excellent.
While, he should have been there ahead of Sundar in the first two T20Is, considering West Indies had many lefties, it was wise to have the off-spinner, Sundar in the squad. Nevertheless, with series already in the kitty, he can come on for Ravindra Jadeja, who needs a break too as he playing all the three formats.
Chahar’s drifty leggies, and wrong ones would be interesting to watch as Rahul Chahar makes his debut in the final T20I.
So, these are the expected changes for the final T20 between India and West Indies.

Apart from these, Shreyas Iyer should have also been given a chance. But, he can only come in at the expense of Pandey, and removing Pandey won’t be wise. Hence, Iyer can wait for the ODIs.
Here is the expected playing XI for the final T20 between India vs WI.
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, Manish Pandey, Krunal Pandya, Deepak Chahar, Rahul Chahar, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, and Khaleel Ahmed.
