IPL 2020: Auction Buys and Complete Squad list of all Teams

Pat Cummins, the most expensive player to get sold as we look at the auction buys, and the complete squad list of all the 8 teams for IPL 2020.

Even when the mega auction is scheduled to take place in 2021, the IPL 2020 Auction clearly surpassed all the expectations with teams spending a humongous amount on most of the players.

As was expected, overseas players were one of the key focus areas for most of the teams, and it was Pat Cummins who took all the limelight. The Australian speedster was purchased for a whopping 1550L after a heavy battle between RCB and KKR; thus making him the second-most expensive player to get sold at the auctions.

Apart from him, the stars that attracted huge attraction were Glenn Maxwell, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Shimron Hetmyer, Sheldon Cottrell, and Chris Morris. Surprisingly, there were few potent players that were purchased for their base prices like Chris Lynn, David Miller, James Neesham, Jason Roy, Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Marsh, and Chris Woakes.

Among uncapped Indian players, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Varun Chakravarthy, Priyam Garg, Virat Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, etc., got a good amount at the auction, and they would the ones to watch out for as they take the field in IPL 2020.

As the teams stack-up, we shall cover detailed strengths and weaknesses articles, team ratings, and much more in our future articles. But, before that, let’s have a look at the auction buys, and the complete squad list for all the 8 teams for IPL 2020
